I thought it might be worth adding this seeing as due to the server/login troubles people are ending up on different servers.

Oh... bluh. I didn't see this thread when I first came into this forum on account of my browser not loading the page correctly. Apologies for attempting to post a duplicate thread. >.>

My main character (out of about... ten or so) is Shion Shirogane on the Diabolos server, Lodestone profile here ( http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/12122682 ).

And here's a screenshot I took during her level 50 ninja job quest that I'm especially fond of:


Shion is a former Raen-tribe Au Ra, whose childhood was deeply troubled because the other younglings distanced themselves from her on account of her Xaela heritage. She eventually acquired a phial of Fantasia with which she attempted to become a Hyur, but a lapse in concentration as she fell asleep resulted in her transforming instead into a full Xaela.

Her main class is Ninja (currently level 51), which is one heck of a hectic class to play in terms of how much you have to do and how quickly. I enjoy it, though, it keeps me on my toes.
