Didn't know you could batch invert... not a bad idea about the hue though. Might redo the color grading of a few covers later.

Damn that’s cool. The only isolated I know of is a laserdisc that sounds like you’re listening to it underwater through a tunnel. I think I’d rather listen to Cardi B giving birth.

Does anyone have an actual isolated version from any Blu-ray? I would absolutely love to hear it. Psycho is a great score.

For a long time I've used a magnificent cover for Psycho ( /98f319253e76f22c2ff6f2cfc818105b/art/Psycho-Soundtrack-Jacket-445806554 ) which used the artwork for the equally amazing Mondo ( ) poster, made by TerrysEatsnDawgs ( http://terryseatsndawgs.deviantart.com/ ).
I was massively inspired by this cover, and by what Terry wrote on DeviantArt about the red color being more suited for the sequel, and I wanted to continue the series in that template.
After all, the films main stories center around Norman Bates and that house.

After having just seen Psycho II (again) and listening to Jerry Goldsmith's fantastic score, I thought about another thing Terry wrote;
"the first color image of the sequel is of the Bates mansion in silhouette before a blood red sky...".
In that shot the image turns from black and white, to blood red, to sunrise yellow and finally to sky blue. I thought it would be a nice touch to add these colors into the other sequels/prequels.

I don't know any more with that guy, but I think Tom Holkenborg is what he credits all of his motion picture composer work with, and Junkie XL is what he keeps for everything else.
Probably to do with the target audience being more familiar with one or the other, imo.

So I found this only just now, nearly 6 years after Dan Mumford made it. I don�t know if it can be made into a cover, but I know there are some talented people on here. I�m not nuts about the color, though I�m not sure what I�d change it to. Maybe less vivid, contrast dialed down? I don�t know.

As for wording I�d like the logo (not what�s been provided here, that�s fugly) in the center of the image if possible, �complete motion picture score� up top and �music by Hans Zimmer� on the bottom?

As always I encourage anyone and everyone to take a try, it�s always awesome to see everyone�s different take on the same image. Please and thank you, any effort is appreciated :)

very cool, heidl! can you pull off the same three-color thing on 28 weeks? like, make the girl and the kid b/w and background with zombies (sans the buildings) red?

So I've been trying to, but imho it doesn't really work.
The contrasts around the girl/boy are to harsh, because the original image so too dark to bring it into the same colour levels as the original 28 Days later.
