A battle with myself

Nowhere to run
nowhere to hide
he thinks it's fun
playing with my mind
As he eventually takes over
he knows that he will win
and then the pain
the havoc that he causes
the suffering he brings to those i love
i cannot bear
i must fight back
or at least run and hide
but i can't
it's a battle with myself
