The Rose Mirror

Ages past, years gone by
summer, spring, and wintry night,
death and life, love and hate,
things not yet, and things too late.

All revealed in moonlight charm,
by the glass of gilded frame,
Twisting vines, and summer rose,
All to tempt the mortal soul.

Glass of beauty, glass of spite,
locked within tower high,
forever solace, forever torment,
show the master what came and went
